Unpasteurised honeys have been recognised for their health-giving properties for thousands of years. With plentiful anti-oxidants, including phytochemicals, flavonoids, and ascorbic acid, anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties, unpasteurised honeys not only taste delicious but have long been used in folk medicines.
Chestnut Honey is harvested in the summer in Galicia, Burgos and Leon. It has a dark amber colour, almost opaque, with a floral, slightly woody aroma.
Lavender Honey is harvested in Summer in Castile La Mancha and Aragon. It has a light amber colour and an intense floral aroma with a sweet and gentle herbal flavour with a touch of acidity.
Orange Blossom has an intense floral aroma with a mild, sweet flavour balanced by sharp, citric notes.
